ELLIPTI-BUR: Uniform deburring of elliptical holes

A solution for rapid and thorough deburring of elliptical holes

The Ellipti-Bur features a spring-loaded, self-guiding conical drill bit that precisely positions the tool for optimal and consistent deburring results.

When in use, first center the Ellipti-Bur over the hole to be deburred. As the tool is advanced, the drill bit is forced back into the holder against spring pressure, bringing the cutting edge into contact with the edge of the hole.

Uniform deburring of the bore edge is achieved by advancing the rotating tool (in working feed mode) to the counterbore depth and pausing briefly.

Thanks to the spring-loaded cutting edges, the tool self-centers flexibly both axially and radially on the bore edge and adheres to the bore edge almost uniformly.
