Deburring Issue - Deburring Tools
Deburring directly on the machine, rather than manual post-processing, offers you a significant competitive advantage today. You can produce burr-free components while maintaining extremely high quality levels, saving production time, reallocating previously fixed resources, and reducing production costs. For the most diverse and specialized deburring applications, we offer you the most comprehensive range of deburring tools on the market, covering almost all application scenarios .
Let's start
In almost all machining processes, unwanted burrs or raised materials are generated. For functional reasons, assembly accuracy, and the safety of further processing, they need to be removed.
Let's get started!
6 steps to select the right deburring tool
In our online tool "Deburring Guide", you will be able to find the right deburring tool for yourself! We will guide you from "deburring problems" to providing you with a range of deburring tools that perfectly suit your application needs. Simply answer our questions about material, machine type, and the specific dimensions of the area to be deburred, and you will receive the most suitable tool options for your situation. Try it out now!
Which tool from our extensive deburring product portfolio is best suited for your specific machining application?
Why deburring on machines is so important
However, deburring parts is usually not one of the core competencies of parts manufacturers. This final step is often seen as a necessary evil that increases unit costs. Especially with the high demands of today, it is necessary to complete the deburring work with a process that is reliable and perfectly matches various quality specifications. Otherwise, not only will product quality decline, but economic efficiency will also be reduced.
The demands on high-precision components are constantly increasing. The quality and functional specifications of products are becoming more complex, while the geometry and material combinations of components are becoming more difficult to determine.
Therefore, your current competitive advantage lies in your ability to produce these components with consistently high quality and without burrs.
Implementing deburring operations in the production process of CNC machine tools not only saves time but also frees up previously occupied resources. Using machine deburring tools almost always reduces the unit cost of mass production and simultaneously reduces quality defects in products or complaints from end customers.

KELCH deburring tools:
Overview of our solutions
Contour deburring tools
Contours define the direction
The deburring process is carried out by means of an adjusted CNC program that operates along the contour to be machined. The milling tool repeatedly removes the burr with the specified feed rate and chamfers it. Since the tool is guided precisely by the CNC program, the use of contour-based tools requires low positional tolerances of the workpiece.
Force Control Deburring Tool
Possesses the power to combat any trouble
The deburring process of force-controlled tools is based on the operating principle of a non-rigid, movably mounted cutting edge. A force is applied to the cutting edge of the tool, which causes the blade/cutting edge to deflect. Thus, the deburring cutting edge comes into contact with the burr-laden edge, removes the burr and creates a chamfer.
Ceramic fiber deburring tool
Tools made of high-performance ceramics can showcase their unique advantages
The deburring process is achieved through the rotational movement of the ceramic grinding tool, where the feed and feed actions can be performed either on the tool side or on the workpiece side. The ceramic fibers of the brush polish the surface of the workpiece and remove protruding burrs from the workpiece.
Handheld deburring tool
Manual removal of burrs from parts
#Our pursuit is for burr-free parts produced directly by the machine. However, there are special circumstances that require manual deburring. Handheld deburring tools are suitable for minimum batch production, single-piece production, or when machine conditions prevent deburring operations on the machine itself.
Minimal burr drilling technology
Reduce burrs during pre-processing
The fewer burrs produced during pre-processing, the easier they are to remove during deburring. With the "CARLLUCIFER Deburring Tool", you can produce holes with virtually no burrs without affecting feed rates. In some cases, this can make subsequent deburring operations completely redundant or at least significantly simplify them – while also extending the service life of the deburring tool.
To reduce burr formation even in complex machining tasks, we are also happy to design tools made of special solid carbide, polycrystalline diamond or CVD materials with extremely low burr generation... “Read more »”
