Edge chamfering and deburring
When manufacturing precision parts using methods such as machining, casting, or spraying, the problem of burrs or flash is always encountered. Therefore, deburring is the final finishing process after almost any machining operation.
The difficulty in deburring edges lies in the diverse forms of edges, which can be sharp edges, mechanically pre-formed edges, curved edges, or edges with unclear contours. To ensure safety, functionality, and assembly accuracy, the deburring process must remove all sharp residues (i.e., burrs) on the workpiece contour without damaging the workpiece's shape, dimensions, and fitting accuracy, while also preserving the ideal surface quality required by the product.
We recommend deburring directly on the machine tool. This ensures you always achieve repeatable, highest-quality results, and reduces process costs and production cycle times as a subsequent deburring step is no longer required. Resources that were previously occupied are freed up and can be used for other processes.
To reduce burr formation even in difficult machining tasks, we are happy to design suitable solid carbide, PCD, or CVD special tools for you with short delivery times and quick response.

In this case, manual deburring has been replaced by the ibex deburring system. The system consists of an ibex compensating tool holder and an ibex special milling cutter, which can compensate for dimensional fluctuations of up to 10 mm in the push and pull directions of this irregular contour, thereby ensuring consistent chamfering and deburring effects.
